You are unique in all the world. There is no one else exactly like you. The way that you mark the important moments in your life should be unique, too.

Rituals and ceremonies bring the deeper meaning of an event home. They also provide support in the many transitions that must be negotiated during a lifetime. They re-connect you to your family and community, as well as to your own heart.

I am a certified celebrant, trained to write and perform all types of ceremonies. In addition, I am an ordained interfaith minister. As a life-cycle celebrant, I can follow you and your family through all the special happenings in your life experience, from wedding to new home blessing, baby naming, new business opening, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, to a funeral or memorial for a loved one who has passed.

Being both an interfaith minister and a celebrant, I can craft blended ceremonies for people of two different faiths or cultural backgrounds. For those who do not belong to a particular faith, a tailor-made spiritual ceremony may be just right. I also write wholly secular ceremonies for those who prefer this. I have access to many resources such as poems and readings, as well as a basic knowledge of rituals from many cultures that can enrich your ceremony. Once you approve the script, I will officiate at your observance.

For a number of years I worked as a professional writer and editor. Celebrancy has given me the welcome opportunity to leave my desk and get to know many delightful people. I still enjoy writing (including poetry), and also like to hike and wonder at nature (especially birds), and to listen to classical music. My spiritual path has led me to a profound interest in metaphysics.

Celebrancy has become my calling and an extension of my spirituality. I have found it to be a path of loving service. My goal is to help you discover your inspiration and to create with you a heartfelt and meaningful observance.
